What " as is" means.

I also have a few things to say about the phrase "this is a "as is" item" that I sometimes put on my item descriptions.   If you purchase an "as is" item from me it will be a used toy.   It will be in good condition, meaning unless mentioned in the item's description all original parts and accessories will be included with the toy.

Buying a "as is" toy is also a gamble.  The more you play with it the faster it will eventually break.  If you purchase a used toy from a antique shop it's with the understanding that it probably can't be replaced if it breaks.  The same is true with my store, I can't replace "as is" items since I only put that label on items that you can't purchase in stores anymore.

Used or new toys break.  Plastic starts to lose it's shape after 3 years, that's why child car seats have experation dates.  When toy companies are asked why their toys have trouble holding up after 20 years, they usually remark that they never meant the toy to last that long.  Cars only last 10 years or 100,000 miles.

If you purchase an "as is" item from me, you will have 3 days after recieveing it to report it as damaged during delivery.  Report it to me via e-mail at unit213@aol.com, or robotparts@aol.com.  I will then pay for return shipping of the item and refund your money.

After the 3 days time limit to report delivery damage, I will assume that you were satisfied with the purchase of your "as is" item.  I will then not replace your item, or refund your money. Because I can assume that the toy was broken while being played with.  And that you understood that "as is" toys are going to break before your adverage new toy, since "as is" toys are older.
