In the begining a small company named Toy Biz, asked the publishing giant Marvel comics if they could be licensed to produce the toys based on the marvel characters. There haden't been a big marketing push for such a thing since Mego stopped. After awhile since making marvel character toys proved profitable, Marvel bought the Toy biz company using the excuse that it made everything easier. In 2007 Marvel sold the license to make Marvel character toys to Hasbro, and renamed Toy Biz to Marvel toys which now makes Curious George toys. There is no point to this story, I just like to tell it.
